Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Modeling and Simulation Team Lead to provide high-level analytic oversight for Navy campaign analyses and to guide modeling approaches aligned with DPS requirements.

The role requires on-site work at the Pentagon and leadership across analytic methodologies for leadership decisions on force design and resource allocation. The candidate will direct executive briefings and papers, coordinate across teams, and ensure analytic rigor to inform senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, Data Science or related field.
• 15 years of professional experience in one or more disciplines, or 7 years in warfighting analysis or Operations Analysis subspecialty code.
• Experience in modeling and simulation–based analysis; budgeting, warfare analysis, scheduling/tracking, and logistics analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; briefings to senior leadership.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level oversight of campaign modeling, simulation design, and analytic methodologies.
• Guide analytic priorities and ensure alignment with Navy objectives and DPS requirements.
• Integrate operational, technical, programmatic, and acquisition considerations into enterprise assessments.
• Oversee synthesis of complex data and ensure analytic findings meet leadership expectations.
• Direct preparation of executive briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior Navy stakeholders.
• Manage workload across multiple efforts and ensure analytic quality and timely delivery.
