Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Modeling and Simulation Team Lead in the ORCA Group to provide high-level analytic oversight for Navy campaign analyses aligned with DPS.

You will guide analytic approaches, oversee modeling efforts, and deliver executive-level briefings to senior Navy leadership. The role requires on-site work at the Pentagon during normal hours in a classified space, overseeing multiple efforts and delivering timely analytic results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or related field.
• 15 years of professional experience in one or more of the listed disciplines, or 7 years in warfighting analysis or proven Operations Analysis subspecialty code.
• Experience must include supporting modeling and simulation-based analysis and managing budgeting, warfare analysis, project scheduling/tracking, and logistics requirements analysis.
• Experience developing white papers, project documents, and executive level briefings; effective written and verbal communication (short technical presentation required during interview).
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (and the ability to upgrade to and maintain a TS/SCI clearance throughout employment).

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level oversight of campaign modeling, simulation design, and analytic methodologies.
• Guide analytic priorities and ensure alignment with Navy strategic objectives and DPS requirements.
• Integrate operational, technical, programmatic, and acquisition considerations into enterprise level assessments.
• Oversee synthesis of complex data and ensure analytic findings meet leadership expectations for clarity, rigor, and relevance.
• Direct preparation of executive level briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior Navy stakeholders.
• Manage workload across multiple efforts and ensure analytic quality, transparency, and timely delivery.
