Job summary

Trace3 is seeking an experienced engineer to support mission critical space domain awareness capabilities for the U.S. Space Force. You will develop core Modeling & Simulation software to model and simulate launch and orbital events within the ATLAS architecture.

This role requires a background in astrodynamics or physics-based modeling, hands-on Python/Java, and experience containerizing tools with Docker. Occasional travel to Vandenberg and a Secret clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience developing M&S or physics-based simulation systems.
• Hands-on software engineering with Python/Java.
• Background in astrodynamics and orbital modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate M&S capabilities for SDA training and exercises.
• Containerize and modernize M&S components within ATLAS architecture.
• Collaborate with physics and M&S experts to ensure model accuracy.
• Support end-to-end software lifecycle including testing.
• Occasional travel for integration and test events.
