Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team for modeling, simulation, and analysis of mission concepts. On-site in Virginia, you will collaborate with experts to build models, design experiments, and deliver analytic products supporting defense and national security programs.

The role requires a BS in a STEM field, 3+ years in mission-level modeling (AFSIM or similar), and a TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Operations Research, or STEM field plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency developing and employing mission-level models within AFSIM or comparable simulation environments.
• Proven ability to translate models, behaviors, and other concepts between disparate simulation frameworks.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or other programming language.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks in support of mission engineering studies and operational analyses.
• Collaborate with military subject matter experts to characterize architectures in the simulation environment.
• Support modeling, simulation, and software development lifecycles across projects.
• Develop models, experiment designs, data collection, and analytic products.
• Lead focused modeling tasks and coordinate across multidisciplinary team members.
• Create quality deliverables and reports with quality control.
