Job summary

Saalex in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to provide advanced M&S and systems analysis support for weapon systems across the acquisition lifecycle. You will develop, validate, execute, and analyze high‑fidelity simulations to evaluate performance, sensor capabilities, and mission effectiveness.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in M&S or related defense programs, a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Master's preferred), and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in modelling & simulation, systems analysis or defense programs.
• Experience developing, validating or analyzing high-fidelity simulations.
• Flight test planning and data reduction experience.
• Statistical, analytical and experimental design techniques.
• Experience supporting VV&A activities.
• Preparing technical reports and stakeholder briefings.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S support for weapon systems across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Develop, validate, execute, and analyze high‑fidelity simulations.
• Conduct pre/post flight test analysis and data reduction.
• Perform image/data analysis to aid testing and evaluation.
• Design and run simulation experiments using statistical methods.
• Support VV&A efforts through simulation and analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support development.
• Provide recommendations to acquisition, development and operations stakeholders.
