Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Modeling, Simulation & Analysis Engineer to advance NGA GEOINT capabilities and enterprise decision support. You will shape system architectures, analyze performance, and develop data-driven recommendations across complex environments.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet operational and business objectives. This onsite role is in Chantilly or Springfield, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, MIS, Math, or related STEM field; substitution applies.
• 12+ years in government or industry programs with large System of Systems or SOA.
• Experience modeling, simulation and analysis in cloud, on-premises or hybrid.
• Ability to develop and utilize tools within cloud environments.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain SCI adjudication and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced modeling, simulation and analytical capabilities.
• Evaluate architectures and performance; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Lead analyses, design trade studies and deployment recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
