Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA. You will apply defense-oriented modeling and operations research methods to support wargaming and warfighting analyses for government customers.

The role requires a STEM degree, 3+ years of experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance; on-site work is required as per client needs. Master’s degree preferred, STORM experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field or a Bachelor’s degree with commensurate software coding and Data Science skills.
• 3+ years of total experience.
• 1+ years of modeling, computer programming, data analysis and/or operations research analysis experience.
• Strong desire to expand modeling, simulation, and analysis expertise.
• Experienced with study planning/execution.
• Works well in collaborative environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Employ modeling/OR techniques to inform analyses and wargames using various software tools.
• Develop and execute analytical models and methods to support warfighting analyses.
• Develop and execute campaign-level representations and analyses of U.S., allied, and adversary forces.
• Apply an inquisitive approach and enthusiasm to learn new tools, techniques, and methods.
