Job summary

WILLCOR Inc. in Crystal City, MD is seeking a Senior Analyst (Modeling & Simulation) to support an advanced M&S lab.

You will configure Windows systems, manage SQL Server 2019, perform GIS analyses with ArcGIS Pro, and develop Python scripts to automate tasks and deliver data-driven insights. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in modeling, lab support, and analytics, with expert Excel/VBA skills and SSRS reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years in modeling and simulation, lab support, and analytics.
Proficiency in Windows administration and software installation.
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (installation, setup, management, and reporting).
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and VBA coding.
Strong Python scripting and ArcGIS Pro experience.
Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

M&S Lab Support: configure and maintain Windows 10/11 systems.
Install updates and configure software to support M&S activities.
Develop lab layouts with Sketch-Up to optimize space for performance.
Specify, install, and configure Windows-based PCs to meet lab needs.
Manage SQL Server 2019 and SSRS reporting; ensure data integrity and security.
Develop Python scripts to automate GIS tasks and data processing.
Conduct data analysis, V&V, and present insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to communicate project status.
