Job summary

MSGIC seeks a GIS Analyst Lead to serve as a technical specialist in the Geospatial Data and Modeling Unit. You will provide advanced geospatial analysis, modeling, QA, and project management for statewide GIS initiatives, ensuring data integrity across platforms.

You will acquire, maintain, and enhance planning-related GIS datasets (Transportation, Housing, Permits, Zoning, Land use) and lead geodatabase design, Python-driven models with ArcGIS Pro, and the development of policy-supporting maps

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced geospatial analysis and modeling.
• Ability to lead data quality assurance and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of geodatabase specifications and data dictionaries.
• Perform QA/QC testing on geodatabases and datasets.
• Design GIS applications and custom components; prepare requirements docs.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage high-priority GIS projects as directed.
