Senior Modeling Analysis & Simulation Operations Engineer

This role involves developing, analyzing, and grading flexible integration solutions across product areas such as sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations. The position requires supporting multiple programs in air and space domains, developing models and simulations to identify technology gaps, demonstrate operational benefits, and develop requirements and tools for system analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting IRADs, CR&Ds, and programs in air and space domains within the engineering team.
• Developing and integrating variable-fidelity computer models and simulations for complex threat environments.
• Evaluating system needs to discover interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain.
• Modeling system and mission kill chains using tools like AFSIM and STK.

Minimum qualifications:

• Degree in STEM with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, EO, or IR sensing systems.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or Perl.
• Experience with AFSIM and military operations analysis in the defense industry.

Preferred qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with numerical optimization, analysis of alternatives, or design of experiments.
• Strong communication skills and programming experience in C or C++.

This is an onsite role located in El Segundo, CA, or McKinney, TX. The salary range is $90,000 to $182,000, with benefits including relocation assistance, health insurance, 401(k), and more. The role is U.S.-based, requiring U.S. citizenship and security clearance.
