Responsibilities:

• Facilitate seamless design-to-engineering handoffs, ensuring accurate implementation.
• Analyze workflows to pinpoint areas ripe for automation, balancing human touch with technological advancements.
• Advocate for the human design process in tool creation, ensuring tools are intuitive and user-friendly.
• Build scalable production design systems that can adapt to evolving needs.
• Deconstruct and simplify complex production workflows, improving efficiency and clarity.
• Conduct workflow audits, map current processes, and prioritize areas for improvement.
• Integrate the right tools effectively, iterating continuously for optimal results.
• Create comprehensive documentation, workflow maps, process flowcharts, and training materials.
• Plan and support process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and successful adoption of new workflows.
• Onboard and train production teams on new tools and processes.
• Establish and communicate production design standards.
• Develop and implement production design project management systems.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience contributing to large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience collaborating with creative and production teams, understanding their workflows and needs.
• Expert-level proficiency with Keynote, Numbers, and Pages.
• Strong communication and organizational skills — clear, concise, and proactive.
• Ability to work quickly and adapt to feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working in fast-paced, time-sensitive production environments.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently troubleshooting technical and process-related issues.
• 5+ years in design operations, systems design, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented, organized, and thoughtful when collaborating with others.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical coworkers.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to interpret requests from creative and production teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, informal environment, with the flexibility to respond to shifting priorities.
• Proven experience working on cross-functional projects, collaborating with diverse teams.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $83.95 to $93.28 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
