Job summary

Liberty Mutual Mobility Solutions is seeking a Senior Underwriter based in Boston to evaluate and shape insurance solutions for rideshare, delivery, autonomous vehicle programs, and other mobility ventures.

You will manage a portfolio of brokers and mobility partners, underwriting profitable business while assessing evolving mobility models, regulations, and exposure trends with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven analytical ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within scope of responsibility that includes competence with all phases and aspects of the underwriting process, and proficiency in the use of qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques
• Must demonstrate comprehension of complex technical underwriting issues and be capable of defining and implementing necessary underwriting and administrative processes/workflows
• Proven track record of developing and underwriting profitable business

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex, emerging, or high-value mobility risks including rideshare networks, delivery fleets, autonomous vehicle technology, connected vehicles, and mobility platforms.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, brokers, and mobility partners, using market presence to develop and underwrite profitable business.
• Underwrite policies within delegated authority and make data-driven decisions on risk, terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Collaborate with Underwriting Support, Claims, Actuarial, and other Liberty Mutual teams to improve processes.
