Job summary

Requires strong troubleshooting, adherence to safety, and the ability to lead shift tasks. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is available for a limited time. Fleet maintenance programs and DOT/FHWA inspections experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age (up to 10,000 lbs) or 21+ with 3 years' experience in maintenance.
• Valid ability to supply basic tools or purchase through toolbox program.
• Experience in DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers.
• Oversee recall campaigns and sign off on completion.
• Diagnose ABS systems and specialized equipment like reefer units and lift gates.
• Mentor new technicians and coordinate shift tasks.
• Document work orders and repairs accurately.
• Ensure safety requirements at customer sites and rail yards.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory.
