Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Pittston, PA is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform complex maintenance, service, and repair of trailers, containers, chassis, and power equipment at customer sites or rail yards using a mobile service truck.

Under general supervision, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete fleet maintenance per J.B. Hunt specifications while ensuring safety and quality of work. Opportunities for advancement and robust benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for equipment up to 10,000 lbs or 21+ with 3 years of semi-tractor/semi-trailer maintenance experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record per JB Hunt guidelines.
• Able to supply basic tools or use toolbox purchase program.
• Willing to work outdoors in the elements.
• Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment.
• Oversee recall campaigns and sign off on completion.
• Diagnose and repair ABS systems, refrigerated units, lift gates, and frame alignment.
• Mentor new technicians and coordinate shift support as needed.
• Follow safety requirements at customer sites or rail yards.
