Gametime is hiring a Staff Mobile Engineer to guide the mobile platform across iOS and Android via React Native. You will shape the technical strategy, mentor engineers, and partner with product, design, data, and backend teams.

This senior IC5 role emphasizes AI integration, performance, observability, release engineering, and scalable architecture. You will own end-to-end vision, drive cross-team initiatives, and contribute to an inclusive engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years building and scaling production mobile apps, including React Native.
• Experience leading cross-functional mobile initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term mobile platform vision and architecture.
• Champion AI-powered capabilities in the mobile workflow.
• Own end-to-end mobile strategy from architecture to release.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across mobile, backend, product, design, and data.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability, and mobile-specific best practices.
• Mentor engineers and uplift team performance through coaching and pairing.
• Drive mobile app performance, reliability, and release quality—including CI/CD pipelines and crash monitoring.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape the mobile roadmap.
• Identify and eliminate platform-level bottlenecks slowing velocity.
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive engineering culture.
