Job summary

Cresta is seeking an experienced Platform Frontend Engineer to lead the frontend platform and collaborate with product and engineering teams. You will build reusable components, ensure performance and security, and drive architectural clarity across web, desktop, and mobile integrations.

You will own critical frontend domains, mentor teams, and help expand Cresta’s capabilities into native mobile SDKs for Android and iOS, enabling AI agent integrations across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and strong CS fundamentals.
• 8+ years of frontend experience.
• Very solid coding skills.
• At least 2 years of experience with native mobile development (Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift for iOS).

Responsibilities

• Play a substantial role in the platform frontend engineering team.
• Work with Cresta product and engineering teams, build and continuously improve the Cresta platform and new product requirements.
• Stay closely with customers and their requirements, analyze the technical tradeoffs, own the customer facing deliverables.
• Develop high quality, well designed, reusable, and well-tested system components, and contribute to the overall system designs.
• Constantly identifies product improvement opportunities and generates product improvement ideas.
• Demonstrate the engineering best practices in deliverables and daily work. Uphold others to the same high standards.
• Technical ownership in a substantial part of the Cresta product and platform.
• Contribute to building the best-in-class company in addition to building the best-in-class product.
• Expand Cresta’s services beyond web and desktop applications to native and hybrid mobile applications.
• Build headful and headless mobile SDKs for Android and iOS to power AI agent mobile integrations.

About The Role

The Platform Frontend team is focused on building and maintaining a robust platform that supports all frontend development. This team oversees key areas like architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes. They also ensure performance, security, and best practices are upheld. By organizing the frontend landscape into product-driven and engineering-driven dimensions, the Frontend Platform team promotes clear ownership, efficient collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality, inclusive frontend solutions that meet Cresta’s diverse business needs.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
• 8+ years of experience in relevant domains.
• Very solid coding skills.
• At least 2 years of experience with native mobile development (Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift for iOS) in large scale consumer-facing products.
• Experience with mobile frameworks such as React Native, Flutter or Ionic is a plus.
• Proficient in designing and maintaining clear frontend architecture.
• Experience as a technical lead of frontend stack supporting various product features.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
