CollX (pronounced “collects”) is the fastest way to figure out what your cards are worth. Magically, scan any trading card to get the value in seconds. Then, head over to the marketplace to list your cards or hunt for new cards to build your collection. As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of CollX’s mobile app, helping to create a seamless and extraordinary experience for our marketplace users.

Who You Are: You’re a mobile development expert with 5+ years of full-stack experience, and a proven track record of building and maintaining high-quality, cross-platform React Native applications. What You’ll Do: As a Senior Mobile Developer on the CollX Mobile App team, you'll be at the forefront of creating a world-class mobile experience for our marketplace users. You will architect scalable, performant, and reliable React Native solutions while working remotely with a talented cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers. You'll lead projects from discovery to launch, consistently delivering features that enhance the collector experience. By leveraging data-driven insights, you'll experiment, iterate, and continuously improve our product offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a user-first mindset.
• Drive innovation by proposing creative ideas that not only delight our users but also contribute to CollX’s business growth.
• Take ownership of quality, testing, and performance to ensure the app reliably performs for all collectors.
• Establish best practices and elevate our engineering standards, contributing to a culture of excellence.
• Participate in on-call rotations to manage and resolve outages, ensuring smooth app operation.
• Actively mentor other team members and lead design discussions, guiding the team toward high-quality solutions.
• Continuously improve our codebase and systems to accelerate team velocity and support scale.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in building consumer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Extensive experience with React Native and GraphQL
• Strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end architecture, with a focus on mobile development.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a distributed team and scale applications and systems.
