Job summary
ATR International in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Project Engineer to lead the mobile software releases for connected medical devices. You will own end-to-end delivery, translate requirements into executable plans, and guide cross-functional teams through successful releases.
The ideal candidate has 5–8 years delivering mobile apps, strong Agile practices, and a delivery mindset to balance scope, risk, and quality in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5–8 years delivering mobile software with project execution or technical leadership.
- Experience translating requirements into user stories and backlogs.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, sprint and release planning, delivery metrics.
- Ability to engage with developers, evaluate approaches, and understand architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of mobile software releases, including planning and release readiness.
- Translate features into backlogs, user stories, and defined work items.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning.
- Partner with Product Engineering, Development, and Test Leads to maintain product alignment.
- Establish and track delivery metrics and communicate progress.
- Support software lifecycle compliance and regulatory deliverables.
