Job summary

Injective Labs is seeking a Senior / Tech Lead Mobile App Developer to own our React Native mobile application and guide architecture, performance, and long-term maintainability for iOS and Android.

You will lead the full engineering lifecycle, collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, and drive architectural decisions to balance speed and scalability while delivering reliable, intuitive DeFi trading experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building fintech, or trading applications.
• Experience with blockchain, Web3, or DeFi.
• Strong professional experience with React Native, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience owning or leading the technical development of a production mobile application.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, state management, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience making architectural decisions and driving technical projects from design through production.
• Strong experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs and services.
• Experience with real-time data and communication technologies is a strong plus.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on iOS and Android stores.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; EU or New York timezone preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of our React Native mobile application and drive architecture, performance, and long-term maintainability for iOS and Android.
• Lead the full engineering lifecycle of mobile features from design through testing, release, monitoring, and iteration.
• Build complex functionality using React Native and TypeScript while upholding coding standards and best practices.
• Make architectural decisions balancing product needs, speed, scalability, and debt, improving mobile architecture and processes.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to translate requirements into scalable solutions and APIs.
• Own mobile release processes, health monitoring, issue triage, and production incident resolution.
• Stay current with mobile development practices and evaluate new technologies and tools.
