Job summary

Paybis, a global fintech company, is hiring a QA Automation Engineer with strong manual testing experience to join the Mobile team. You will own manual testing and test automation for native iOS and Android apps handling millions of users worldwide.

This role focuses on real-device testing, payment flows, 3DS challenges, biometrics, and vendor-integrated mobile code. You will work with a remote-first, autonomous team and contribute to a product used globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual testing experience.
• 3+ years of QA automation experience with Java.
• Experience with JUnit or TestNG and test structuring.
• Proficient in GitLab CI and pipelines.
• REST API testing with Postman or code-based HTTP testing.
• Experience intercepting mobile traffic with Charles Proxy or Proxyman.
• Basic SQL for test data validation.
• Understanding mobile payment flows (card tokenization, 3DS, biometrics).
• Knowledge of iOS vs Android automation differences.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of DEV tasks in a scrum team with other QAs.
• Write and maintain manual test cases in AlureTestOps and API tests with Postman/REST-assured.
• Design, build and maintain automated test suites for iOS/Android using Java + Appium.
• Cover mobile payment flows end-to-end including 3DS and biometrics.
• Integrate tests into GitLab CI — smoke, regression, nightly on real devices and emulators.
• Intercept and analyze mobile traffic for validation and debugging.
• Work with Allure TestOps for test management and reporting.
• Diagnose production issues using Firebase Crashlytics and logs.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams; plan tests and improve coverage.
• Identify gaps in iOS vs Android coverage and close them proactively.
