Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Mobile Product Architect, Digital Payments to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery of next‑gen mobile payment experiences for Cash Plus clients. You will drive the payments architecture roadmap, collaborate with product and engineering, and evaluate new technologies across iOS and Android platforms.

The role requires eight+ years in related work and strong expertise in digital payments, tokenization, and security. A hybrid work model and visa sponsorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years related work experience with at least three years as a technology architect.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture strategy and roadmap for digital payments across mobile platforms.
• Design scalable, secure mobile payment solutions including wallets and tokenization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and risk teams on roadmaps and delivery.
• Lead reviews, proofs-of-concept, and technology evaluations to manage risk.
• Establish architecture standards, patterns, and governance across teams.
• Track emerging payment technologies and present recommendations to senior leadership.
