Job summary

Vizypay seeks a Sr Software Engineer (Mobile) to own the architecture, security, and delivery of the VEXIS mobile app across iOS and Android. You will lead architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and UX/UI in an Agile setting.

You will ship production mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, performant experiences in a payments environment. This is an in-office role in Waukee, IA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years in professional software engineering with mobile focus; 3+ years shipping production mobile apps.
Experience with PCI DSS, SOC 2, or financial services regulation is preferred.
Strong knowledge of iOS/Android native tooling and/or cross‑platform frameworks.
Ability to translate requirements into shipped mobile capabilities.

Responsibilities

Own the architecture, security, and performance of VizyPay mobile across iOS and Android; evaluate native vs cross-platform approaches.
Define and enforce mobile engineering standards and mentor engineers through code reviews and design reviews.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX/UI in an Agile environment; align mobile roadmap with security and product roadmaps.
Design, develop, and maintain the VEXIS mobile application; manage API integrations, push notifications, and offline-first data.
Build and operate mobile CI/CD and release management with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and App Store/Play Store submissions.
Implement automated testing and monitor crash/performance data to drive improvements.
Engineer secure-by-design mobile apps aligned with PCI DSS and OWASP MASVS/MASTG.
