Job summary

Hatch Studio is seeking a hands-on Senior Mobile Full Stack Engineer who has mastered backend systems and native mobile development. You will take end-to-end ownership of critical production features, from Go microservices to native mobile experiences.

Design, build, deploy, and maintain robust services across the entire stack, including API design, database modeling, and mobile UI/UX. Remote work across Canada with Pacific Time business hours.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production backend experience in Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, Rust, Node/TypeScript, Scala, C++, or similar.
• Deep expertise in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin/Compose) with at least one app shipped to the App Store or Google Play.
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills and familiarity with modern tooling including AI coding tools.
• Excellent written English for technical documents.
