Relocation to the Charlotte/Mooresville, NC region is required, with regular in-office work at the Mooresville location. You will oversee the mobile portfolio, influence roadmap, and mentor engineers across teams as part of a Fortune 50 company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent).
• 8 years of IT experience.
• 8 years in software engineering or related field.
• 3 years leading project or technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads Mobile Engineering team in support of achieving the company's mission; manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment.
• Oversees design, build, and maintenance of solutions; translates business requirements into program designs and software.
• Drives best practices, conducts code reviews, and resolves defects at code and platform levels.
• Leverages DevOps tools to deliver products and observability tools to identify improvements.
• Partners with scrum teams to align capacity and increase velocity; manages stakeholder relationships.
• Designs solutions with microservice architecture and API integration; guides product priorities.
