Job summary

AOB Products Company is seeking a Senior Application Developer to drive mobile solutions across our brand portfolio in the United States. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality apps for Android or iOS, and guide projects from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of mobile development experience with production apps.
• Proven track record delivering complex apps or major features.
• Expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Strong mobile architecture, design patterns, and security.
• Experience with APIs, cloud integration, and IoT friendly devices.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE devices preferred.
• Git and CI/CD experience; strong debugging and problem solving.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile apps for Android or iOS.
• Act as a technical expert for your platform and guide the team.
• Lead complex features from planning to production release.
• Create scalable architectures aligned with product goals.
• Translate requirements into technical specs and plans.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Product Engineers on connected devices.
• Lead API, cloud, Bluetooth/BLE, and third-party integrations.
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and drive growth.
• Identify risks and optimize performance and reliability.
• Estimate timelines and ensure timely feature delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain compliance with performance, security, and accessibility standards.
• Keep apps compatible with OS updates and store policies.
• Participate in release planning, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Develop technical documentation and testing protocols.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and innovations.
