AOB Products Company is seeking a Senior Application Developer to drive mobile solutions across our brand portfolio in the United States. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality apps for Android or iOS, and guide projects from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of mobile development experience with production apps.
• Proven track record delivering complex apps or major features.
• Expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Strong mobile architecture, design patterns, and security.
• Experience with APIs, cloud integration, and IoT friendly devices.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE devices preferred.
• Git and CI/CD experience; strong debugging and problem solving.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities; strong communication.

Responsibilities

About The Role

The Senior Application Developer at AOB Products Company plays a pivotal role in shaping the mobile technology landscape of our brand portfolio. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that support our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in either Android or iOS development, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects from conception through deployment. As a senior member of the development team, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to ensure our mobile solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Electrical Engineering, Creative, Marketing, and IT to deliver seamless user experiences. You will also be involved in integrating mobile applications with APIs, cloud services, Bluetooth/BLE devices, and third-party platforms. Your expertise will help drive innovation in connected consumer products and ensure our applications meet the highest standards of performance, security, and usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Between 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Proven track record of independently delivering complex, production-ready mobile applications or major features.
• Expertise in one primary platform: Android (Kotlin, Java, Android Studio) or iOS (Swift, Objective-C, Xcode).
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working with APIs, networking protocols, cloud integration, and application security.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE-connected devices is preferred.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git and experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior developers and guiding technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
