Job summary

Mode.Inc is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer (Android & iOS) to join the Emerging Apps pod. You will build high-quality native apps across Android and iOS, utilizing agentic AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, marketing, and operations to define features, ship quickly, and measure impact while maintaining excellent testing and code quality. This is a remote-first role with global reach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mobile engineering delivering native apps on Android and iOS.
• Proficient with Kotlin/Java, Jetpack Compose on Android; Swift/SwiftUI on iOS.
• Experience with GitHub workflows and PR reviews; strong testing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native Android and iOS apps.
• Experiment with AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing and operations to implement roadmap.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
