Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mobile Diesel Technician for Indianapolis, IN. You will perform on-site maintenance on trucks, containers and trailers, and serve as the on-site maintenance representative with a service truck.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, inspections and repair estimations, prioritizing equipment availability, and communicating status updates to internal customers. Must have a diesel tech background with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or 2+ years diesel technician experience.
• Travel required to on-site customers.
• Valid driver’s license and able to meet DMV standards.
• Valid DOT medical card or able to attain within 30 days.
• Welding skills and experience.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Senior Mobile Diesel Technician -

Job Number:

262372 - Full-time Wednesday-Friday and every other weekend, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

• Mainly work outside the shop as a Senior Mobile Diesel Technician in Indianapolis, IN.
• Perform all minor and major repairs on trucks, containers and trailers.
• Be supplied with a service truck and serve as the on-site maintenance representative.
