Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a Sr. Decision Scientist for the Mobile App team to shape and optimize the mobile user experience across acquisition, engagement, and retention.

You will partner with product, engineering, and design to run rigorous analyses, experiments, and causal inference to drive growth and improve job seeker success. Strong communication of insights will influence product strategy and prioritization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of product analytics experience in product/engineering/tech environment.
• Experience designing experiments and using statistical principles to inform decisions.
• Proficient in Python, R, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Define KPIs and create reports and dashboards to track performance across mobile app initiatives.
• Translate insights into product strategy and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and design to shape growth strategies and user engagement.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments to drive app growth and retention.
• Communicate findings with clear visuals and documentation for executives and stakeholders.
