Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from APA-accredited program.
• Limited NYSED permit to practice as Psychologist.
• License and current NYSED registration must be obtained within two years of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Through clinical interviewing and testing, evaluates emotional and intellectual functioning.
• Maintains records of test performance and treatment results.
• Prepares reports of psychological findings for clinical case histories.
• Consults with psychiatrists, social workers, judges regarding diagnoses and dispositions.
• May provide neuro-psychological and vocational assessments.

Education
