Job summary

Aquent is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to drive quality across mobile platforms. Location options include Culver City or Cupertino with in-office schedule and remote flexibility. Expect weekly pay, benefits, and a 401k with match as part of the compensation package.

Responsibilities include developing test strategies, executing validation, and building automated tests for iOS applications using Python and Swift. Strong focus on end-to-end testing and API integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development with at least 5 years in test automation.
• Expertise in Python for writing robust automation scripts.
• Proficiency in iOS automation and on-device testing.
• Experience designing and building end-to-end test frameworks.
• Experience with React front-end and Python back-end development.

Responsibilities

• Execute and track testing/validation for mobile systems as part of UAT team.
• Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts with high coverage.
• Test on-device experiences across mobile apps.
• Design automated tests for iOS platforms using Python and Swift.
• Provide testing documentation, status reports, and coverage matrices.
• Communicate progress through Test Status and Metrics reports.
