The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with 5–10 years of experience who thrives in early-stage environments and is ready to take a leadership role. This is a high ownership opportunity to help shape both our technical architecture and engineering culture. You’ll work directly with the founding team to build a seamless, scalable platform that delivers real world value.

This role is ideal for someone who can balance execution with vision, someone who codes cleanly, mentors others, and thinks like a product owner.

Compensation

This is currently an unpaid role with equity offered. We’re actively pursuing funding and intend to offer competitive compensation once secured.

What You’ll Do

• Own and lead fullstack development, from system architecture to feature implementation.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend systems (Node.js/NestJS, PostgreSQL, Hasura, Firebase).
• Collaborate on frontend architecture and contribute to UI features using React/React Native or similar frameworks.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines (Docker, GCP, etc.).
• Work cross-functionally with product and design to ship end-to-end features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Mentor junior engineers, review code, and help establish strong engineering practices.
• Contribute to product direction and business strategy from a technical lens.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in fullstack or backend engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in Node.js, NestJS, Express, PostgreSQL, Hasura, and Firebase.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and cloud deployment practices.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor others.
• Product-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with mobile app development (React Native) and early-stage startups.
