Liberty Mutual is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Specialist to manage MMF/LTC Professional Liability claims from inception to resolution. You will analyze claims, set reserves, and coordinate with counsel, underwriters and management.

The role may require in-office presence and occasional travel; opportunity for remote work based on location. A strong background in medical professional liability and litigation management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree required; JD is a plus with professional liability experience.
• 5+ years claims/legal experience in medical Professional Liability (MMF/LTC).
• Knowledge of Professional Liability concepts, coverage issues and regulations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, investigate, and evaluate MMF/LTC Professional Liability claims from notice to resolution.
• Establish reserves for indemnity and expense within authority; review regularly.
• Recommend reserve levels for claims outside authority.
• Prepare reports and communicate trends to management and underwriting.
• Manage litigation through retention of counsel.
• Participate in mediations/arbitrations within settlement authority.
• Meet with brokers, risk managers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain adjuster licenses as required.
