Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist in Hackensack, NJ. This hospital-based role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends and provides technical leadership.

The Senior MLS conducts complex testing, trains staff, and offers guidance on investigations and problem solving while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years clinical lab experience in the designated department.
• MS degree in biology/chemistry with MLS experience if supervising.
• Experience with QC and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing and act as SME.
• Provide technical direction for non-routine testing.
• Investigate analytical problems and recommend actions.
• Train and develop staff under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
