Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff MLOps Engineer to shape and drive our MLOps strategy, building a scalable platform for AI/ML deployment and operations across the organization.

You will lead platform architecture, manage cloud infrastructure, and mentor engineers while collaborating with data science, product, and engineering teams to advance Responsible AI and reliable ML delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture and MLOps.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and long-term roadmap for the ML platform.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure with IaC (Terraform).
• Collaborate with data science, product management, and engineering teams.
• Evaluate tools and vendors for the MLOps platform.
• Improve reliability, observability, and fault tolerance of AI/ML systems.
• Build and maintain DevOps pipelines for ML training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop agent frameworks to monitor and respond to system events.
