Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist for the Linear Personalization Experience (LPEX) team to own end-to-end ML solutions for content recommendation and real-time personalization at scale across Prime Video.

You will lead the ML lifecycle from problem framing to production, mentor team members, publish research findings, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver measurable customer impact.

Qualifications

• PhD or master's with 6+ years of applied research.
• 5+ years building ML models for business use.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Define the science strategy and multi-year roadmap for Linear TV personalization.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML models for content recommendation and real-time personalization at scale.
• Own the complete ML lifecycle: problem formulation, data analysis, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and production deployment.
• Build and optimize recommendation systems with strict latency requirements.
