Job summary

Prime Video is pursuing a hands-on Applied Scientist to own ML models that power search and recommendations. You will lead design, development and evaluation of AI systems, working with cross-functional teams across engineering and product management.

You will publish research findings in top venues and stay current with the latest modeling techniques, contributing to a world-class search experience for millions of Amazon customers.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 6 years of applied research.
• 4 years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• Experience programming in Java, C, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI solutions for Prime Video Search systems using Deep learning, GenAI, RL, and optimization methods.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, implement and launch AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and conduct offline and online (A/B) experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on data analyses.
• Publish research findings in top conferences and journals.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques.
