Job summary

Wayfair is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Scientist III for the Advertising Demand Science team in Boston. You will lead the development of intelligent agentic systems and ML capabilities to support ads revenue, working with product and engineering to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing, evaluating, optimizing and deploying ML models (ads, bidding, recommendations).
• Strong understanding of agentic systems for large-scale ML problems.
• Experience with Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
• Experience with data processing and ML pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow).
• Experience building scalable ML systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to design experiments and analyze results using A/B testing and statistics.
• Excellent communication to explain ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in agentic systems for ads campaigns and optimizations.
• Design, build, deploy, and refine scalable ML platforms for ads experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, infra, and ML platform teams to promote best practices.
