Kadence is seeking a Machine Learning Research Engineer to develop the ML layer and agent execution framework for a on-device personal AI product. You will focus on personalization, ranking, and recommendations, collaborating across research and production teams to bring advanced ML pipelines into a consumer-facing product.

The ideal candidate has a strong ML research and engineering background with experience in LLMs, recommender systems, and agentic AI, plus 7–10+ years in industry, preferably

Qualifications

• Strong ML research and engineering background.
• Experience with LLMs, recommender systems, personalization, ranking or agentic AI.
• 7–10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Background in consumer AI/ML environments is highly relevant.
• On-device ML experience is a bonus, not required.

Responsabilités

• Build the ML and agent execution layer around an existing foundation model.
• Develop systems for agentic execution, personalization, ranking and recommendations.
• Own the ML science and pipelines from research through production.
• Work with LLMs and potentially develop specialized ranking models.
• Help shape a completely new consumer AI experience at an extremely early stage.
