Job summary

Kadence is seeking a Machine Learning Research Engineer to develop the ML layer and agent execution framework for a on-device personal AI product. You will focus on personalization, ranking, and recommendations, collaborating across research and production teams to bring advanced ML pipelines into a consumer-facing product.

The ideal candidate has a strong ML research and engineering background with experience in LLMs, recommender systems, and agentic AI, plus 7–10+ years in industry, preferably

I’m partnering with a well-funded stealth AI startup building one of the first truly personal AI products designed to live entirely on your device, learning how you work, and executing tasks across your applications without sending your personal data to the cloud. They’re now looking for a Machine Learning Research Engineer focused on the ML layer that enables the AI to intelligently execute actions and deliver highly personalized recommendations.

• On-device ML experience is a bonus, not a requirement
