Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience as a software engineer with ownership of distributed systems.
• Built and operated low-latency ML infrastructure (streams, serving, or training) at scale.
• History mentoring engineers and improving engineering quality.
• Familiarity with ML platform components to partner with ML engineers.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and reliability of ML inference infrastructure with high availability and low latency.
• Build and optimize low-latency streaming pipelines delivering feature data to production models.
• Drive improvements to distributed training infrastructure for efficient processing.
• Develop observability tooling to monitor data quality and detect model degradations.
• Mentor junior engineers to raise engineering standards.
