Job summary

You will mentor engineers, improve observability, and partner with ML teams to deliver production-grade platforms while maintaining high reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience as a software engineer with ownership of distributed systems in production.
• Experience building and operating low-latency ML infrastructure (streams, serving, or distributed training).
• Track record mentoring engineers and improving engineering quality via reviews and design discussions.
• Familiarity with ML platform components (feature stores, model serving, orchestration) for collaboration with ML engineers.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and reliability of ML inference infrastructure with high availability and low latency.
• Build and optimize low-latency streaming pipelines delivering fresh feature data to models.
• Improve distributed training infrastructure to scale ML workloads efficiently.
• Develop observability tooling to monitor data quality and detect model degradations.
• Mentor junior engineers to raise engineering standards and production-grade practices.
