Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, ML Platform, to join the ML Data Team and help architect, implement, and operate ML infrastructure powering Feeds Ranking, Content Understanding, and Recommendations.

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines, governance tools, and production-grade systems with strong emphasis on reliability, testing, monitoring, and observability, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the ML Platform domain.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Experience with large-scale batch and streaming data processing.
• Production-quality systems with testing and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and operation of ML signal-governance capabilities.
• Build tools to assess signal importance and lifecycle decisions.
• Partner with MLEs to define governance workflows for signal metadata.
• Contribute to ML Data Platform including prediction logging and training data pipelines.
• Drive complex projects end-to-end from planning to rollout.
