Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end ML and personalization initiatives, coordinating engineering, data science, product, and design across global teams. You will own roadmaps, manage risks, and drive production-ready pipelines that affect hundreds of millions of listeners.

You will partner with leaders to balance capacity, trade-offs, and timelines, while building clear metrics and dashboards for leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management in ML/AI/data platforms.
• Proven track record delivering multi-team programs from planning through production.
• Understanding of ML workflows such as training, experimentation, data pipelines, and production inference.
• Strong relationships with engineering and product leaders in distributed organizations.
• Clear communication translating technical work for engineers and executives.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating clarity across priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programs for large-scale ML and personalization initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Drive delivery of recommendation systems and personalization models used globally.
• Own program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risk plans.
• Orchestrate ML development workflows including training pipelines, experimentation, data infrastructure, and deployment.
• Partner with engineering leaders on capacity planning and trade-offs.
• Drive alignment across ML engineering, data science, product, platform, and UX teams.
• Set up program metrics, reporting rhythms, and leadership dashboards.
