Spotify AB in New York is seeking a machine learning specialist to design and deploy LLM-based recommendations and adaptive playlist experiences. You will work across research, design, data science, product, and engineering to ship production-ready ML systems at global scale.

Ideal candidates have strong ML, NLP and generative AI backgrounds, plus experience deploying end-to-end ML pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine learning, NLP, and generative AI in real-world projects.
• Ability to design production-ready ML systems at scale.
• Familiarity with LLM-based systems and human feedback techniques such as reinforcement fine-tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, and ship LLM-based solutions for adaptive listening experiences.
• Work on prompted playlist experiences focusing on music fulfillment and session generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across research, design, data science, product, and engineering.
• Prototype new ML approaches and bring them into production at global scale.
• Build and improve systems connecting artists and fans in personalized ways.
• Contribute to scalable ML systems serving hundreds of millions of users.
• Promote best practices in ML system design, testing, evaluation, and deployment.
