Job summary

Workday Government in the DMV area seeks a Sr. SDE to design, implement, and operate scalable ML Runtime features. You’ll partner with data scientists and ML engineers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions powering Workday’s machine‑learning capabilities for federal customers.

This role requires 7+ years in DevOps, strong Python, Kubernetes and Docker, plus Infrastructure as Code. A TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance is preferred; on-site work and on‑call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, software engineering, and CI/CD.
• Strong Python programming and container orchestration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/STEM.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable ML Runtime features and microservices.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and other Software Engineers.
• Design and operate distributed systems and IaC for reliability and scale.
• Deploy and manage containers in production with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and related tools.
• Engage with tech leads across teams to drive technical solutions.
• Contribute end-to-end ownership of features from development to deployment.
