Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Engineer to advance large-scale AI systems that strengthen text safety and integrity across the platform. You will design, build, and own components that ensure high-quality text and robust moderation across Roblox properties, while working with product, policy, and safety teams.

You will push AI infrastructure forward, develop evaluation tooling, and stay ahead of emerging technologies to enhance user safety and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale machine learning systems in production environments.
• Graduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own critical components of AI-based text safety systems.
• Implement robust AI services to ensure text quality across Roblox properties.
• Advance AI infrastructure with strong frameworks and APIs for hundreds of clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data and AI solutions.
• Develop text safety quality metrics and evaluation tooling for ongoing improvement.
