Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Software Engineer (Active TS/SCI with Polygraph) to design, develop, test, and enhance high-performance software systems at Fort Meade, MD. You will work across the software development lifecycle to build analytics, implement algorithms, handle large datasets, and modernize real-time information systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
Experience in full-lifecycle software development and debugging.
Experience with processing-intensive data analytics and large datasets.

Responsibilities

Analyze user needs and operational requirements to derive software design specifications.
Design, code, and test new software features and modify existing applications for new hardware or environments.
Develop, optimize, and implement algorithms to meet performance and functional criteria.
Create and execute test procedures, resolve defects, and document test outcomes.
Design, implement, and query complex database interfaces and data extraction routines.
Apply mathematical modeling to predict design outcomes and system behavior.
Collaborate with systems engineers, end users, and leads to evaluate data usage and workflows.
Document technical designs and recommend improvements to development processes.
