Job summary

tvScientific is seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to build ML/AI systems for its Connected TV ad-buying platform. You will influence real-time bidding, campaign optimization, and incrementality measurement at scale, touching audience targeting, bid optimization, pacing, and attribution.

You will mentor a distributed engineering team, leverage LLMs to accelerate development, and work on evaluating and deploying AI-driven products in a fast-paced advertising tech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong production Python skills and experience deploying in prod.
• Solid statistics and ML fundamentals; understand experiment design and model evaluation.
• Familiar with modern AI tools and judgment on their value.
• Adtech or CTV experience: RTB, programmatic ad buying, measurement.
• Clear written communication for a distributed team.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; 4+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Write production Python that powers real-time bidding, model training, and campaign optimization.
• Train, deploy, and monitor ML models that decide which ads to show at scale.
• Build and improve incrementality measurement systems for advertiser insights.
• Design and implement ML products across the ad-buying lifecycle: targeting, bidding, pacing, attribution.
• Use LLMs and AI to build internal tools that accelerate development, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor on a distributed engineering team.
