Job summary

Digital Turbine is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and scale the ML systems behind ad ranking, bid optimization, and user-level prediction. You will build pipelines and serving infrastructure that turn data into measurable lifts in CTR, CVR, and ROI, across DSP, offer wall, content, and notifications.

The role requires 8+ years in production ML, strong Python and CS fundamentals, and experience with PyTorch/TF/JAX plus distributed data/compute systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building ML systems in production at scale (AdTech or similar).
• Strong CS fundamentals and Python; Java/Scala/C++ a plus.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX and distributed systems.
• Experience building robust ML pipelines and monitoring.
• Track record of shipping models improving CTR/CVR/ROAS.
• Master's or Ph.D. in CS/ML or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy large-scale ML systems for ad ranking and prediction.
• Operate production ML pipelines including feature engineering and retraining.
• Leverage cross-product data to enable real-time decisioning with features.
• Optimize training/inference for latency, compute, and cost in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Data Science/Engineering and product teams; run online experiments.
• Stay current with ML research and apply to advertising and ranking.
